When you arrive in Al Menia you will be transferred to a motor boat to visit Tal Al Amarna. Tal Al Amarna is the Virgin City of King Akhenaton who was also the Father of Tutenkhamun.

It is called the Virgin City because Akhenaton believed there was only one God but most of his people disagreed so there was a revolution and Akhenaton moved to start a new city.

After Akhenaton died his son moved to Luxor but was told to change his name from Tutankhaten to Tutenkhamun which means living image of Amun. Carry on to visit Bani Hassan , here you have the opportunity to view the many Tombs which originated from the Old and Middle Kingdoms.Once you have finished this truly interesting tour you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Cairo.
